Growing up, I watched my grandmother quilt a quilt for every occasion and for every member of our extended family.  When my husband and I moved to Florida I decided to take a beginner class in 1985 and have been quilting ever since.  When we moved to Ithaca, I retired from nursing and started working for some friends who had just opened a quilt shop. Quilters Corner is a fabulous quilt shop in Ithaca, NY, and 20+ years later I still love working there.  I started designing patterns years ago just for the shop and with their encouragement have made the leap to developing my own pattern company.

Many thanks to Angie Roux from Quilting By Proxy for her long-arm work on many of my larger quilts.  Her custom work is superb and I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to bring life to your quilt.
