Pattern Corrections

Fat Quarter Fiesta:  It has come to my attention that several of these patterns have come from the printer without page one.  If you have one of these patterns please email me and I'll send you page one right away.  I'm so sorry for the error.

Cabin By The Lake Regular Pattern:  On the back cover there is a requirement for 2" Star Singles.  The papers are not required for the regular pattern, only the Block of the Month pattern.   This is a great product and if you haven't used it, do try it.  Each paper makes 8 perfect Half-Square triangles at one time.

Fabric Requirements:  For the Medium Blue for the Water - 1/4 yard is needed.

From page 11 for the tall trees:  For the cutting from each of the three medium blues, the 3 1/2" strip directions are ok, but you only need one 2 1/2" strip WOF, which you should cut into two 2 1/2" x 10 1/2" rectangles and two 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" rectangles.

Cabin By the Lake BOM:

In Month #3:  The light blue requirements should read 14" x 20" instead of 7" x 14".

In month #5:  the light fabric should be 7" x 20" and the dark should be 7" x 14"

In month #5, in the cutting directions where it says For  the letter 'B', replace with 'A12 pieces', and For the letter 'C' replace with 'A13 pieces'.  Also in the piecing directions to clarify, where it says piece the center section first, I mean center sun rays section first.  After A1-A11 are pieced, then you add A12 and A13.

Cabin By the Lake BOM Cutting Changes:

I had a request for yardage requirements included in cutting directions.  If you have an earlier version, just email me and I'll send you a updated version of the cutting directions.

Here are the corrections for the original shop cutting instructions.

In Month #3:  the cutting for the light should be, From three light blue fabrics cut; six 14" strips and cut on fold for 14" x 20"

In month #4 for the H piece of the cabin, there is a correction on cutting for shops.  Please cut three 4 1/2" strips and recut these into 4 1/2" x 10 1/2" rectangles.  If you are looking here, then you already know there is a problem with the initial patterns.  I'm really sorry we didn't pick up this mistake. If you are a customer and have a piece in your kit that is too small, you can either go to your stash and find something that is 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" or go to the store and I'm sure they can supply you with a piece of fabric.  Again, sorry for the mistake.

Month #10:

Dark Blue:   Cut twelve 2 3/4 yd for each kit.  You will need 27 yards.  This gives about 7" extra.

Seven fabrics for flying geese:  Lightest Blue:  cut twelve - 6" strips WOF.  For the rest of the flying geese, you will need one red, two medium blues, one light green, one medium green and one dark green.  From each of these cut twelve 3 1/2" strips WOF.

Hometown Village:

Page 11 - At the bottom where it says 'Using Diagram B.... is should say 'place three (not six) squares'  of both the dark and light green fabrics. Repeat the three (not six) 4" squares on the top of the next page for all of the dark/light green fabrics for the HST units.
